Susan, If you have a 175 jib, IMF and diamond board, try sailing with the jib completely unfurled. That will move the center of force aft. If that doesn't give you neutral helm, perhaps your forestay is too short. For those sailing with weather helm, that is completely unnecessary for safety. The flared hull shape forces the boat to round up when overpowered. So relax. Regards, RickSee the original archive post
