Jay:
The line that raises my centreboard is about 12'. It has to pass through three blocks before the final block at the base of the tube leading to the cockpit. When the centerboard is down I have very little line that is free. I have the original centreboard but I think the line route s the same for the diamond board.

Wondering about the optimum length for best use of the diamond board. I have 38” (full travel, stopper knot to exit hole) but have measured everywhere from 26” on up. Most have been factory set.
