I know this topic pops up periodically, and I’ve lost track of any great solutions. I have a boom bail on the boom. Has anybody found a better way of attachment to the base of the mast than a line under the mast bolt? This would only be for pop-up down, boom in high position. in the archives, Roger talked about a hitch pin on the boom car so in any scenario, with pop-up up or down, boom high or low position it works. I just question where to locate it and the stresses on it.
