Hi, I just want to pop in here to say that I use Aviation Gas from my local
small airport in Edgewater, MD for my Mercury Outboard. It is ethanol free
and I think pretty much any small local airport has it and will sell it to
anyone. It is more expensive $7 to $11 a gallon.
I suspect this is very much like the Racing Gas mentioned in an earlier
post.
So, if you can't find a nearby ethanol-free gas station try your local
airport.
(If I understand correctly, small airplanes really don't like ethanol in
their gas. I think it causes them to stop working and thus endangers the
lives of their passengers. :-)
