Well, after putting the motor in the v-berth, raising the genny as high as possible, tightening the luff tensioners on the sails and using the boom topping lift as a whisker pole topping lift we managed a respectable 2nd place finish in our class. If the bottom were smooth instead of having rolled on paint and 3 weeks growth, we would have won for sure. We got some funny looks at first, being the smallest boat with blown out sails, but take a look at the results in the link below. The boat did way better than anyone thought. (PHRF Non Spin B) http://www.regattanetwork.com/event/14283#_newsroom+results You can see us a few times around the halfway point in this drone video of the race. We look so small compared to the other boats, but you'll see they're behind us. https://www.skypixel.com/videos/wednesday-night-racing-17-opening-night -- View this message in context: http://rhodes-22.1065344.n5.nabble.com/Racing-tp52926p52937.html Sent from the Rhodes 22 mailing list archive at Nabble.com.See the original archive post
