Hi all: A gentleman on the Facebook Rhodes site posted the following: Yes I have owned my Rhodes for 33 years after Stan built it for me. He refused to take my order at the Annapolis Boat Show and insisted that I come to Edenton to sail a Rhodes before I bought a new one. During that sail in miserable weather he said, "When to wind is too high, roll up the main and reef the Genoa." Best sailing advice I ever had. This is the first I've heard of this tactic. I would have expected it to be in Stan's manual. I would welcome comments from others on the list. Thanks, Shawn S/V Sweet BabooSee the original archive post
