How to replace forward lower chainplates?

Hi Mike,
I think I would have located the hole a little closer to the cabin ceiling.  But, if you look up into the hole, can you see the chainplate?  If so, could you use an abrasive cut off wheel sideways in the hole to cut the old chainplate?

I did not reinforce the outer cabin wall and have not had any issues.  However, it is more important that the chainplate lead fairly to the anchor points.  If there is a gap between the chainplate and the cabin wall; then, it would be good practice to fill in the space with G-10.
