Tom,  I too highly recommend a bimini.  I sewed mine from a Sailrite kit and we're very happy with it.  Like others have said, I wish I had one on our previous sailboats.  After installing this on our Rhodes, I bought a TaylorMade one from Overton's for our bowrider.
