Hopefully my picture attaches. I seem to have problems there. In regards to the refurbish of our Rhodes, we have the stringers repaired, and the sole and all cabin parts dry fit and ready to install. We're on the final coat of hull paint, and will be doing some deck gelcoat repair next. As such we are now analyzing the rigging. When we bought the boat a year and a half ago the mast was in the cradle. Most looks to be in good shape. We do have concerns with the donut shaped piece that is part of the mast furling system. The one in the picture is made of some fairly soft material and is pretty chewed up. The question is, has anyone made one and with what material. I thought about starboard which is only slightly thinner. Any ideas? There will be more questions to come. This turned out to be a much bigger project than we thought. I've been following the group mailings, and going through the archives, but I will have more questions soon.
