Hi Matt,
I used to live fairly close to you. From 2004 to 2012 I lived in the Minnetonka Edgewater Apartments on Lake Minnetonka in Spring Park, MN. Spring Park is a western suburb of Minneapolis. As you see from the picture of my wife and I on board S/V Dynamic Equilibrium at the dock, the apartment complex had it’s own marina. The sailing season officially began when the apartment complex put the docks in, usually sometime in mid May.
I’ve been fishing on White Bear Lake in my kayak; but, I never got a chance to take the sailboat over there. There are so many inland lakes in Minnesota, it would take many lifetimes to sail them all.
