I never ordered new sails for my ’84 Rhodes 22, but I’ve ordered plenty of sails for the C&C 35 I’ve been racing for 32 years.
You are probably not racing the R 22, but I can tell you that the sails delivered from the Doyle loft were not always what were ordered and had to be returned. I can’t imagine how difficult that would have been without using a local agent.
We have been using the same guy the whole time so he knows the boat and has templates from past orders and they still screw it up once in awhile.
