I live in Omaha and sail at Lake Manawa in Council Bluffs.  I would be happy to take you out for a sail if you are up for the drive.

Last summer I took my R22 to Rathbun Lake southeast of Des Moines and I saw two R22's there: one from early 2000s and another one that older.  The owners were not around so I didn't get to meet them.  When I was contemplating buying a R22 I stopped by Saylorville Lake and saw that there was an R22 there.  It was the offseason so it was up on stands at the time.
