Roger, my assessment was that my original first axle was too far forward to
begin with in the way my boat loads on my trailer. (Your milage may vary.)
That would suggest my pitch radius with the second axle is somewhere near
the sweet spot in between. The second axle does more than just add its own
weight. It also serves as lever action to weigh down on the tongue.
