Jim, The part you want for your boat trailer is sold on-line at Defender Marine ( www.defender.com<http://www.defender.com> ) and West Marine ( www.westmarine.com<http://www.westmarine.com> ). It’s called a Swivel Bolster Bracket Assembly, the MoC is galvanized steel, and it’s available in 3 different sizes to fit different trailers. The cost per bracket will be $15 to $19 each, depending on the size. They also sell galvanized steel brackets in the hardware section too. You could also source trailer parts online. Champion Trailers is one such source. There are also drawings in the archives showing the trailer bracket and some showing the approximate angles they are attached; based on a Triad trailer. I think I drew them in terms of rise/run, but I can get my angle guages and go out back and check if you need exact measurements. I dont use the triad trailer. I bolted adjustable angle brackets on my other trailer and locked the angle after loading the boat and getting the bunks flat against the hull.
