A few years ago I bought from Stan (this was prior to non-Certificate holders being banned from doing business with General Boats). I shipped the motor cover for my Honda 4 Stoke to him, he attached the connection piece and shipped back the cover and the connector arm that I attached to my tiller head. It worked like a charm. A Great piece of engineering (like there would be anything else from Stan and General Boats). Last year I got tired of the battle with that Honda, it would run good, but I couldn't get it to idle. Since I only sail on a smallish lake in Texas, I decided I didn't need very much horse power. I bought a Torquedo electric motor and LOVE it. Not too certain how much headway I can make into a strong wind, but I probably won't ever find out, I've become a pretty much fair weather sailor. So now I am going to sell the Honda (unless you live in the DFW area of Texas, you don't really care) and the motor-tiller interconnector. I don't really remember what I paid Stan for this beautiful engineering, but if you are interested, please send me a direct email at: blue66corvette at hotmail.com I am pretty certain we can strike a deal.
