Richard,

Congeniality among racers is not dependent on boat size.  Whether keel
boats, dinghies or model r/c boats, congeniality depends more on the
personalities of the skippers in the race and following the "Corinthian
Code".  That is, follow the rules and if you break one, do your penalty
without having to be protested.
