Here are two pictures. One of my two crewmates on the last sail of this season, Thursday October 1st.. That last time I sailed with both of them was in high school, in Italy on an old Lightning class sailboat in 1968, a long time ago. We got together again for another sail, what fun. Oh, for the photo opp, we held our breaths and snapped the picture then masked back up. Just not worth the risk at our age. The other photo is me transferring the re-restored Red Rhodes to my son. I drove out from Baltimore to Effingham, Illinois Sunday October 3rd and handed it off to Nick to do a bit of sailing in Kansas before things freeze up, and then he will store the boat as we are 50/50 partners on this Rhodes The sign above the picture says it all, boats, sons, Rhodes 22m, and sailing in general. One final thought, I hope everyone posts their "last sail of the season". And Yes some of you southern boys (and ladies) will never have a "last sail of the season". just share them anyway.
