I’ve been thinking about replacing the ‘U’ channels with longer ones - extending over the combing to a horizontal that carries the triple turning block and cam cleat. 
I might have seen something like this from Da List in the past and there might be one of those just waiting for me to purchase somewhere. 
And - I might try Chris’s offer temporarily until I can find or invent/engineer a better mouse trap er motor mount.
