Hi Stan!  It almost looked like that extra piece was glassed in...if not
than definitely glued down well. I think I’d damage the hull interface just
by removing it. I’m thinking about just enlarging the inner opening with a
keyhole saw to allow me to pull the board. I don’t think the slick surface
on the laminate gives the gasket the best matings surface either...that
might explain my slightly wet bilge. Do you sell new diamond boards, or is
it usually more economical to have them repaired locally?
