From memory, the bolt sticks out about 1" beyond the mast tabernacle. This should establish the rough length that you need.

The hole in the mast should establish the diameter. Refer to the attached bolt sizes chart.

Don’t forget to use an "aircraft" style fastener (nut) with the nylon insert.
