Hey Todd. I forgot to mention he can MIG and/or TIG weld any type of metal.
He's a pretty handy guy with the mind of an engineer.

You're right Chris. Andrew isn't trying to cut into GB's business. Those
parts are already established. He likes the "I can't find this anywhere"
kind of thing. That and problem solving. He's always looking at my boat and
thinking of better mouse traps.

My Rhodes came with an open furler for the head sail. It looks like a big
spool with nothing to keep the line on it when deploying the head sail
except hand tension. Admittedly, I'm still learning, but there have been
several times where I've brought out the Genoa and forgot to hold onto the
furling line. This has always led to a rats nest of tangled line below the
furler. If I'm single handing then I have a devil of a time going forward
and untangling it. Andrew is now working on a simple tensioner that will
make sure the line always feeds back onto the spool. I don't know how many
of you have that same type of furler, but if there's any interest after we
get it perfected, let me know.

I didn't tell him about the ROC, nor did I tell him marine parts are
supposed to cost more, so yeah, no worries there! :)
