So here is a short segment from the mainland of Italy (Vibo
Valentia.....just above the "toe", to several of the Lipari Islands
(Aeolian Islands).  Though not a great distance (100 nm) it was
very interesting sailing and exploring.  Oh, and the weather was way more
nice than what most of us are experiencing at the moment.  There is a short
intro with a link to all previous postings for "A Rhodes in the Med"
Covering the last two summers sailing from Spain, France, and Italy in the
Rhodes.
