I forgot to add that I actually tried tried to think of some way to use a
solenoid and microswitch to stop the motor, but with my limited electrical
knowledge, I could not come up with a system which wasn't drawing a small
current when in either the down or up position. I decided if I wanted to
attempt this, I would need some mechanical way to break the circuit .
