Patrick,

The view under my settee is similar to what you show in your picture.  There's a gap between the bulkhead and the hull, and no visible means of attachment.  Looking at the back side (the side closer to the bow), I find fiberglass tabbing attachment near the top edge both port and starboard.

Unfortunately, I've got something installed in this space that prevents me from seeing if there's additional attachment points further down.
